Sinclair Spectrum 128 +2 |
Last update: |
Manufacturer | Sinclair Research Limited |
The Spectrum 128 +2 was released shortly after Amstrad took over Sinclair and looks similar to the Amstrad CPC 464 with the built-in cassette unit. Not only did the +2 have the obvious improvement of 128 Kb and a full keyboard, it also had the Yamaha YM2149 sound chip found in the Atari ST. When switched on or reset the machine displays a menu with one option allowing you to switch back to the original 48 Kb mode.
The disk drive, interface and Multiface have been kindly loaned to me by my old schoolfriend Matthew. Cheers mate! |
