Commodore Amiga 4000
Last update:

Manufacturer Commodore Electronics Limited Amiga 4000 The Amiga 4000 was, along with the A1200, one of the last models Commodore produced before going bankrupt. Intended to host the AAA chipset it contained the new AGA chipset which was not quite as good as expected, no improvement in sound being an example. It was the first Amiga to support IDE rather than SCSI for hard disks.
My A4000 is a 68030 machine and I have never expanded it.
